Shopping for a Gaiam Yoga Mat

Types of Mats
A Gaiam yoga mat is available in many different materials, colors and designs so that they fit any person’s choice in yoga mat. There is a basic Gaiam yoga mat that is basically made of a rubber material so that the user doesn’t slip out of position when they are performing the yoga poses, especially when they begin to perspire, making their hands and feet slippery. Since yoga mats have hands, feet, faces, arms, legs and sweat on them throughout each class, it is important that they are kept clean so that there is not a build up of bacteria on the mats.
